About.

Nicole Orosa

Endlessly curious. Meticulously organized. Lifelong learner.

I’m a Northern Virginia native and a lover of lists, schedules and clever logos. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications – Public Relations, and I’ve worked in the advertising space ever since.

I started my career at DMI, working within operations of a digital advertising agency. I learned the ins and outs of running an agency that had teams of media planners, creative resources, UX designers, developers, strategists, and project managers. I took a particular interest in project management and soon made the transition from Operations Analyst to Project Coordinator. I had the opportunity to manage creative projects for higher education institutions and clients within the technology and architecture industries.

I took my career to the next level and became an Account Executive at SimpsonScarborough, a boutique agency specializing in higher education research and marketing. I wore many hats depending on clients needs and would occasionally take on the role of strategist, researcher, or interviewer.

I’m now looking to make another move in my career that leverages my project management background and allows me to grow as a strategist or product owner. I recently completed my Professional Scrum Certification by Scrum.org and am excited to take on a new role that will allow me to work with teams in an agile environment.

What makes my projects successful

  • Effective communication and teamwork
  • Exploring new and creative ways to solve problems
  • Managing time, budget, and client expectations
